What is an Iseum?

pexels-skyler-ewing-266953-7575549_edited.jpg

In the ancient world, an Iseum was a sanctuary devoted to Isis, the Egyptian goddess associated with magic, healing, grief, devotion, and rebirth. The Veiled Lily is a contemporary Iseum: a space for sacred feminine wisdom, personal transformation, and the mysteries that ask to be experienced rather than explained.

For a priestess initiated into the mysteries of Isis, the Iseum is not bound to a temple or fixed place. She carries the sanctuary within her, and the Iseum exists wherever she goes.

Mission

Kitty’s work is informed by her own ongoing relationship with shadow, grief, and personal transformation. She believes healing does not require us to overcome or reject the darker parts of ourselves, but to meet them with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. Her offerings create space for reflection, embodied awareness, ritual, creativity, and connection.

Her mission is to help cultivate conditions in which people can listen to themselves more clearly and develop greater trust in their own inner wisdom. Whether working individually or in community, Kitty accompanies others as they explore their inner worlds, encounter what has been hidden or neglected, and move toward a more honest relationship with themselves.
